  • ResumeChristos I. Konstantinidis graduated from the medical school of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in July 2023 and since early 2024 works as a trust doctor in the Major Trauma Unit of Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in the United Kingdom. Throughout the years, he has participated in various research projects and has been a speaker at multiple conferences. His research interests concentrate mainly on trauma and orthopaedics with a special interest in the physiological response following trauma, the biology of mesenchymal stem cells, bone healing and non-union and the clinical outcomes following fracture fixation. He has a special interest in systematic reviews with active participation in many projects including a large-scale systematic review commissioned and funded by the World Health Organization (WHO). Apart from research, he has volunteered multiple times in primary and secondary health structures in Greece and has assisted in educating younger students in various subjects during medical school. As part of the Society of Junior Doctors, he has been a member since 2020, in 2022 and 2023 he was elected as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors and as of 2024 serves as the President of the Board of Directors.
