- ResumeMaria Eleni Karaferi is a fifth-year medical student at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Throughout her studies, she has shown interest in the specialty of Neurosurgery and Neurosciences in general and has actively participated in laboratory research in the field of Electrophysiology and Neuropsychopharmacology. She has contributed as an author to research projects which led to oral presentations, posters, and publications. She also volunteers by participating in the bone marrow donation awareness campaign "Will you... marrow me?" and being a member of MedsCAN which is a voluntary group against child abuse and neglect. She has been a member of the Society of Junior Doctors since 2023. She is currently the General Coordinator of the Working Groups Organizing Committee and was elected as Treasurer of the Board.
